Welcome to StampSnap, an AI-powered stamp identification and collection management service (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is owned and operated by StampSnap ("we", "us", "our").

To access the Service, you must at all times agree to and abide by these Terms of Service, including any additional guidelines, and any future modifications (collectively, these "Terms"). These Terms are a legal contract between you, a user of at least 18 years of age ("you" or "User"), and StampSnap regarding your use of the Service.

By accessing, using, or registering for the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If at any time you do not agree to these Terms, please terminate your use of the Service.

While we strive to improve the Service and ensure the information provided is accurate, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of any and all information, data or content on the Service. You agree and understand that during your use of the Service, no content feedback can be used as any basis for any civil or commercial activities performed by you or others, otherwise all risks that may arise from such activities and all responsibilities shall be borne by you, not by StampSnap.

Your access to and use of the Service is subject to all applicable international, national, federal, state and local laws and regulations. You represent and warrant that you will not use the Service in any manner or for any purposes that are unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. The Service is not for persons under the age of 18.

7. Restrictions

You will not use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. Access from territories where the Service's contents are illegal is strictly prohibited. Users are responsible for complying with all local rules, laws, regulations and policies.

You will not use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it or interfere with any other party's use. You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Service. You will not use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Service without our express written permission.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of your stamp images and collection data. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely for providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for purposes unrelated to the Service without your consent.

9. Accounts

You agree that the information you provide upon registration will be true, accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

10. Service Availability

The Service is provided free of charge with unlimited usage. We may offer voluntary donation options via third-party platforms, but donations are not required for any feature access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services (including DonationAlerts, OpenRouter, Google Gemini, and VPS hosting). Your interactions with these third parties are governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of third-party service providers.

12. Disclaimers; No Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR FREE. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT STAMP IDENTIFICATION RESULTS ARE PROVIDED AS A TOOL TO ASSIST COLLECTORS AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL APPRAISALS OR CERTIFICATES OF AUTHENTICITY.

13. Limitation of Liability

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL WE OR OUR AFFILIATES, CONTRACTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR THIRD PARTY PARTNERS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM YOUR USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, including attorney's fees, arising out of your use or misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of the rights of any other person or entity.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or security risks. Upon termination, your data may be deleted after 30 days. You may delete your account and associated data at any time. You may stop using the Service at any time.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the Service operator. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 60 days, it shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.
